soooo, here’s the promised “real” update. and by real, i mean long and detailed. πŸ™‚ i’ve been busy with the recently concluded SM Menswear Fashion Week show and for the ongoing Miss Resorts World pageant. and when i say busy, i mean busy. Imagine, when the storm was about to hit, we were still in the SM head office sorting out the pieces for our collection.

yes, i knew it was gonna pour BUT considering PAG-ASA is pretty much inaccurate most of the time, i decided to ignore their forecast. wrong move. i was freezing on the way home. so that was monday last week. last week was spent mostly on preparing for fashion week and the pageant. we did a lot of pull-outs, a lot of styling, and a lot of going all over metro manila. the most ngarag part had to be the weekend. imagine waking up early then going to bed late, then waking up early again… you get the picture.

MY CRAZY ALL WORK WEEKEND
1. Friday- models’ fitting

One word for the fitting: CRAZY! i’ve been to fittings but none of them seemed as crazy as this one.. probably because each outfit had a LOT of pieces. but it was nice seeing the outfits come together and hanging on a person for a change. it looked good on the hanger, it looked even better on the models.

2. Saturday – Menswear TVC

Rudolph and I spent the whole day last Saturday styling the video for SM menswear’s fashion week collection. Call time was 5:30am. it was tiring but it was fun nonetheless. Hideo was soooooo hyper that day! good thing he was or else Rudolph and I would’ve been so much more drained and exhausted.

when we got to this part of MOA, hideo’s shirt was untucked. rudolph was really stressing about it, i was chill coz we weren’t rolling yet. when the director said we were gonna shoot, rudolph was already panicking. i told hideo to tuck his shirt coz it was stressing rudolph out. he found it funny. so the whole time, he would pretend to untuck his shirt. 😐

the many faces of bobby carlos:

it’s a wrap! πŸ˜€

if there’s one thing i learned last saturday it’s that how some people can be so effin’ RUDE. yes, you have an opinion but openly bashing someone’s work as if you’re an expert in that field and calling it stupid in a setting where that’s what’s being showcased is just plain rude. stating your opinion like it’s some natural law when you clearly have no background in the topic only parades your ignorance. i hope you eat your words soon (if you haven’t already). and sexual innuendos are sooooo immature. hasn’t anyone ever taught you manners?! ibang klaseng kabastusan. /rant over

3. Sunday – Ms. Resorts World Prepageant Photoshoot

jumpsuit
it was such a loooong day shooting 30 girls in 4 different set-ups under the sun (then later on, the stars) in the hotel’s pool area. the scariest part for me was when i walked on the acrylic to see if the contestant’s swimsuit and accessories were okay. i didn’t want to fall off! haha!
so that was the weekend. it was all work but it still had some play. πŸ™‚ tuesday was the pageant’s swimsuit competition then yesterday was SM’s fashion week show. I’ll save fashion week for another entry. πŸ˜‰
meanwhile, today was semi-chill. just pulled out some clothes, had an Allure shoot with elite model Pauline Prieto, then immediately returned the clothes.

i’m pretty sure this long entry makes up for the days i haven’t updated. πŸ™‚ fashion week post soon!
