red random brand football jersey-esque top, black shorts, parisian wedges

Today was one of the rare sundays without work. Ma and i had lunch in this place in Maginhawa Street called Sancho. I’ve passed that place lots of times on my way to Pino but never really gave it the time of day coz Gio, Ingrid and I found the name funny when said fast (sanchochurreriasanchochurreriasanchochurreria) but it’s actually pretty good and the price was reasonable. šŸ™‚

we had gambas for appetizer and although i’m really not fond of spicy food, this was an exception. it was just too good šŸ™‚

for main course, i had the steak and mushroom potpie while my mom had lengua. mine was okay but the lengua was delicious! it’s now on the list of the yummiest lengua i’ve ever had second only to my Lola Carmen’s recipe.

for dessert, we had the brazo de mercedes and the madrileno.

CHEERS! the hot chocolate where they normally dip churros… i just wanted the chocolate. šŸ™‚
my mom was all too happy to spend time with me.. i was too. šŸ™‚
