{dress and shoes from Thailand}

Decided to curl my hair today, midway through it, the power went out leaving me with this messy wavy hair that I actually enjoyed sporting. It made me feel artsy. πŸ˜‰ Another thing I’ve been enjoying is nude lips. Do you have any nude lipstick shade to recommend? I badly need suggestions as my tube is dwindling and I can’t really complain coz I bought it for like only a P100, haha!

Pino is located in 39 Malingap Street, Teacher’s Village, Quezon City

Anyway, went to Pino Resto Bar to have merienda (afternoon snack) since it was pretty hot at home. It’s been a while since I last went to Pino so I was surprised to see that they had already expanded. They now have a kitchen studio as well as a vegetarian food offering on top of the resto bar we’ve all known and loved. Since it was still pretty early, we were lucky enough to be seated in my favorite table.

One of the restaurant’s attractions is this wall with doodles and my favorite table has the most “access” to it. This wall is probably the first thing that’ll draw your attention when you enter. The owners did this themselves and our server, July, was nice enough to tell us the symbolisms in this wall. Yes, everything you see here has a reason and aren’t just random drawings. She even pointed which drawing stood for her. πŸ™‚ This was done with markers too. Cool idea, don’t you think? But then again, everything in Pino is pretty much awesome.
taro chips with wasabi mayo
mini sisig tacos
my favorite: chunky chocolate tempura

Lastly, if ever you’re in Pino, don’t forget to try the PINO-KA MARGARITA that’s good for sharing! πŸ™‚ It’s great for conversation, and I mean it both in the sense that you’ll have something to talk about and you’ll have something that’ll get you to talk. πŸ˜‰

my favorite Pino moments: October 13, 2009 and July 1, 2010 πŸ™‚

    Great outfit, I love the tasselled bag, I'm looking for one at the moment.

    AS for a nude shade of lippy, I use Birthday Suit by Rimmel. It's got a little shimmer to it.

    as for the nude lipstick.. I highly recommend Rimmel's #700 "Nude Delight" (purple tube) – I just got it a couple of days ago and it's BRILLIANT.

  6. I think your hair looks kinda cool like that! It was a good accident. That wall mural is so neat! I love that it's not just a random doodle. Those tacos look so different and yummy!
