One of my life’s frustrations is not being musically inclined. I don’t know how to play any musical instrument (I tried though, hence the guitar in my room), but I think I’m tone deaf. πŸ™ That, however, hasn’t stopped me from loving music. In fact, I guess it taught me to appreciate it more. It just amazes me how somebody can sing about the things I’m feeling or what I’m going through when I myself sometimes can’t find the words for it. It’s like somewhere out there, there’s someone telling you that don’t be afraid coz scary as it is, someone out there survived it and was even able to come up with something beautiful from it. But regardless of that, a song always, always, becomes personal. A song doesn’t have the same meaning to everyone, I guess part of a song’s allure is the meaning we attach to it. Universal yet personal – it doesn’t get more beautiful than that. So, thank you, rockstars, popstars, rapstars, divas, and everything in between.
Going through old issues of Numero, I came across this feature on women from different fields delving into music. Included on this list were models, actresses, and even France’s premiere dame. It was entitled Elles connaissent aussi la musique which pretty much translates to They also know music. This was the inspiration for this blog post.
who knew that pretty face Angela Lindvall is also a musician? cool points for her!

here’s the same outfit, stripped off the accessories in the previous photos, as my boyfriend and I went around Ortigas. All we did yesterday was eat, eat, and eat yummy fast food that I’ve been craving for. McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Krispy Kreme… Bad yet so good!

  1. Lovely post, I wish I was more musically inclined but after many teenage years of trying different instruments including the guitar but alas I'm still hopeless. You look very natural with your guitar though =)

  10. the guilty little pleasures of life : food and clothes. Mix them with some music and that's perfect.
I'm not tone deaf,I sort of dance, but playing an instrument…that's rather tricky.
But I love music and it's gotten me out of lots of depressions , so <3
