First off, I’m back on Lookbook and Chictopia! Please say hi 🙂 Second, this is the outfit I used for Stylebible.ph‘s Bloggers Animal Print Challenge. Opted to go animal print on animal print for this one and brought out these suspender tights since Manila at that time was having a rendezvous with tropical depression Dodong. Rain made traffic to downtown Manila more challenging as some streets were already flooded – quite the 180 from the record breaking heat we had last May. I wasn’t quite sure if I’d make it on time but thankfully, I arrived on the dot (which sadly wasn’t the case the next day). We spent the rainy Wednesday shooting in Manila Hotel’s General Douglas Mac Arthur Suite which I have to say is beautiful. It’s so hard not to imagine what the hotel must’ve looked like in its earlier years! I mean, walking along its halls, I can only fancy what it must’ve been like decades ago… who walked those halls, what they wore, how they acted, etc etc. If only I can go back in time and take a peek. 😉

After the shoot, the three of us made our way to Taft to grab something to eat. Was excited for this one coz I was with two bonafide Lasallistas and I wanted a taste of the Taft life.

Mikka looks so japanese here!!!

After that, I was off to the DAS showroom. Not only do I love the shoes from Das, I also love the people behind it! They’re really one of the nicest, from Neeresh to her mom and to Ate Maricris, everyone is just so awesome. Do check out their shoes, the double padding is really comfy! 🙂
