Had a casual Friday last week. It was one of those chill, no-frills, do-what-you-want days. The weather seemed to reflect the mood too as it was a bright and sunny day – perfect for shorts. 😉

Also perfect was a lunch date with my Comtech barkada. It’s funny that I have a Comtech barkada when I never was a Comtech major, I just kinda got absorbed in this group back in second year college and I couldn’t be any more thankful and happier. 🙂 It’s nice being able to relive our college lunch outs 🙂

After having lunch at Bonifacio High Street, I made my way to the Belo clinic over at Tomas Morato. Belo Medical Group isn’t the top cosmetic surgery and dermatological group in the country for nothing! Their service is really impeccable – from the doorman to the receptionist to the consulting doctor to the aesthetician.. I really have nothing but praises for the staff. 🙂 I don’t really remember the last time I had a facial cleaning, all I do know is that it hurt pretty bad that I swore it off. However, as I become older, I realize that I need to start taking care of my skin and if I were to fix my regimen, I should start with literally a clean slate. Of course, Belo was on the top of my head coz they’re the most recognized group in the country lang naman. And boy am I glad I was able to experience their world-class fabulosity firsthand in my skin care journey. 🙂

So let me tell you about the Belo experience I had – it starts the moment you enter the door and they greet you. The receptionists then ask how they can help you and then they check your records. You’ll then be led to the waiting area where you wait for your consultation with the doctor. Getting expert opinion and recommendations on what services to avail is one of the perks of going to Belo. You’ll be advised to get treatments that suit you, instead of you just randomly picking a service that you might not actually need in other clinics that doesn’t have a consultation session prior to the treatment. For a skin-care neophyte, it was something I really appreciated. It takes around 15 minutes til the doctor sees you but waiting was rather enjoyable since episodes of Belo Beauty 101 were being shown. I had a facial cleaning and although I’ve shunned it in the past, Maricel, the aesthetician was just so nice about it that I was able to relax coz I knew I was in good hands. She was kind enough to answer my curious “what’s that?” and “what’s that for?” questions too. I left the clinic with clearer skin and the staff going “bye ma’am Reg”. They definitely make you feel like you’re part of the Belo family. They even follow you up the next day which is another thing I’ve experienced only in Belo. How can anyone not want to go back and have another Belo Beautiful day?! 🙂

Belo and Belo Essentials have truly been motivations in this new skin care regimen of mine. I’m working really hard to keep up with this regimen coz I know that it’s never too early to start taking care of your skin. So to all of you out there who don’t really bother with skin care coz you think you’re too young or those of you who don’t bother coz the dermatological phrases and treatments intimidate you, just try visiting any Belo branch and I guarantee that having a Belo Beautiful day will convert you. 😉
