{bazaar polo, landmark pants, parisian flats}
Took outfit shots today coz this blog has seriously been lacking the personal style element. Gathered enough courage to take outfit photos in the vicinity and thankfully, walang tao. Hehe! Sorry for the crap photos, I’m back to using my point and shoot since I haven’t had my G12 fixed yet. 😐 Been sticking to this outfit “formula” for work since a) it’s really cold in the office, b) I commute everyday, and c) I don’t really have that much time in the morning. Today though, I learned another reason why  I should stick to this formula ~ commuting safety.

the road ahead

I had such a crazy commute day today!!! Morning pa lang, kagulowh na. When Ingrid and I got inside the MRT station, the Buonavista train has already arrived so I thought I’d still be able to catch it if I ran (I did it before) but yeah, I missed it. Figured I’d try the Dhoby Ghaut train to see if it’s faster and bond some more with Ing (it’s not faster but at least more seats!). Saw Bus No 9 leaving as soon as I got down Simei and while I was waiting for the next bus, I was thinking to myself that everything has a purpose so maybe missing the first bus had one too. The bus ride was pretty much uneventful until this lady got inside the somewhat packed bus and announced “EXCUSE ME, CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A SEAT?!”. Whoa. Pretty soon she was dissing the other passengers and complaining rather loudly about anything and everything. I was less than a meter away from her so I just slept to avoid being the next “victim”. There literally was a collective sigh of relief inside the bus when she left. Grabeee! The commute home was pretty much the same. I saw the bus leave as I had to return my pass and ended up waiting around 20 minutes. The bus ride was super sardines, hence the picture above. Medyo natakot ako for my life (hindi naman, natakot lang ako na ma-offbalance at mapahiya kasi mabilis ung bus hahaha). When I finally got a seat, it was next to a Pinoy pa. Whatarethechances? (actually, medyo marami HAHA) Wait lang po kuya, ung teleserye ko malapit na! Hahaha πŸ™‚ Thennn, there was another creepy man in the train. He would go around, sit next to people and bug them. Example, he sat down next to the guy infront of me and asked him to shoo away. 😐 Pretended to sleep (defense mechanism, teh?!) so he wouldn’t bug me. 2 stops from Buona Vista, he sat on the seat next to the empty seat beside me and he was making sounds and then  he knocked on the seat between us. That freaked me out a bit that as soon as the train announced “Next station: Buona Vista” I jumped off my seat and just waited by the door. HAHAHAHA cray. :))

Feels really good to sit back at home and munch on homemade Apple&Pear Cobbler after a Manic Monday. πŸ˜‰
