It’s important to have go to pieces for days when you’re running late for work. For me, it’s always been dresses as it doesn’t require much planning- just throw it on. The ultimate of dresses though is the black dress. It can go from casual to formal in a snap. Karl Lagerfeld said it best, you can never be over-dressed or underdressed with it. It’s always just right.
