I was lucky enough to catch Mamma Mia! on their last matinee show here in Singapore back in December. I was really surprised that the Mastercard Theatre wasn’t packed since it was SO GOOD!!! It was my first time to watch any version of Mamma Mia and I thoroughly enjoyed the music and the story (although DNA testing would’ve been much easier, haha!). The international touring cast had so much energy and their singing just blew me away. To be honest, I’m glad I saw the stage performance before the movie coz it was a whole ‘nother level! I don’t think I would’ve been compelled to watch them live if I’ve seen the movie previously because Mamma Mia the film for me was just okay. Sorry Pierce Brosnan, I’m putting this one on you. I have to admit though, that ever since watching the production in Marina Bay Sands, I’ve been listening to more ABBA and my boyfriend and I have been referencing it in our day to day lives. We burst into song sometimes, sorry not sorry. Haha!

On that note, this has recently been my current mood. Quarterlife crisis, anyone?! The real world gets real hard at times. Just have to remember that the struggle will be worth it.

I have a dream, a fantasy, to help me through reality
And my destination makes it worth the while.
Pushing through the darkness, still another mile.
I believe in angels, something good in everything I see, I believe in angels.
When I know the time is right for me, I’ll cross the stream.
I have a dream.♫
