READING
I just finished reading my first John Le Carré novel, A Most Wanted Man. It was my boss’, and to be honest, I found it difficult to read. For starters, the language wasn’t conversational. The worst part though, is the ending and how feasible it is.

FEELING
Excited for the Italian trip my mom and I are planning. Italy is probably my favorite country in the world – New York being my favorite city – and I can’t wait to explore it even further! The above photo is of Cinque Terre and I am just so so sooo excited to see it in person! Italy is such a beautiful country with equally lovely people and aghfdhf I can’t contain my excitement to return to the land of gelato and pizza!!!
LOVING
The 4-day weekend coming up! I wish it was always 4 days work – 4 days break – 4 days work. My boyfriend says it’s too much, I say it’s just nice.
WANTING
To refresh my italian! Since we’re going around the country, I’m sure it will be very useful. And come on, I had 4 semesters of French but I still wasn’t able to apply it in Paris, what more my 1 semester of Italian?! hahaha I got a lot of work to do!!
NEEDING
To come up with a game plan and following through with it. That means getting my priorities straight and developing thicker skin and a stronger backbone.
WISHING
My meat defrosts already! I’m getting really hungry! I’m cooking meatballs tonight. 🙂
Hope your week is going well! If there’s one valuable insight from this week so far, it’s life can get stranger than fiction sometimes. Messed up situations are inevitable and there are real legit jerks in this world. You can’t avoid it all, but you do have the power to choose how you react to it. Taking the high road is easier with wine. But wine also gives you free pass to do stuff, so, hmm.. Best not blame wine for our choices, good or bad. After all, it’s meant to be enjoyed and not used as an excuse. Cheers?
