One thing I miss about living in Manila (and vacationing in New York) is rummaging through racks and piles of pre-loved stuff. Whether it’s ukay, Bloggers United, or tables set outside the metro stations, there’s always a hidden treasure waiting to be found. Being able to inject new life to some of our favorite items is also quite rewarding, regardless if you’re the one buying or selling. These things get to have a new home in which they’re valued more instead of withering away in a dusty corner of your room, or worse, the dump. Plus, you earn from selling and save a couple of bucks from buying second hand – and who doesn’t like extra money? 🙂
Luckily for us living in the East, White Sands Mall is holding its first ever Car Boot Sale & Flea Market! It will be held on September 19-20 at the fields next to it, and I am honesty looking forward to it. I’m pretty sure that there’ll be, in the words of The Little Mermaid, whozits and whatzits galore.
If you’re thinking of selling, registration is open at Level 2 of White Sands Mall. It’s $80 per day, a steal considering how much foot traffic from the bus interchange and the MRT the field has. See the deets below –
