Bespoke drinks are quite the rage in our little island. Over at Boat Quay, an inconspicuous signage that reads “AH SAM COLD DRINK STALL” leads brave and curious souls (or those active in social media, haha) to this cozy bar lined with vintage Chinese ads. It’s far from the hawker centre stall that may have come to mind upon first hearing the name. 😉 After sitting comfortably in one of the benches, you give general descriptions of what you like/don’t like in a cocktail and then the bartender will surprise you with their creation. If you’re not feeling that adventurous, you can go for classic mixes or even try their signature cocktail, the Tak Giu which is whisky and Milo. I popped by on a quiet Tuesday evening with Nicole and Amos, who I’ve been teasing the whole night who were great company and the best people to talk random non-speakable-with-most-folks topics with.

Really enjoyed hanging out and talking with these two!

I opted for something sweet and this is what they came up with. It reminds me of birthdays!♥︎

A closer look at my sweet drink. Yep, that’s meringue under the sprinkles! So glad I went on a not-so-busy night!
Second drink: something fruity. Passion fruit + gold dust + orchids = Are you sure this is a drink!? I’m sold!

So sweet, noh? Even got MBS at the back! Truth is, Amos was the thirdwheel, hahaha! :p
Do check it out if you’re in the area! Weekend’s coming up! It’s a great place to catch up and unwind with friends. Or maybe even bring a date?
