CASUAL FRIDAY

Okay fine, it’s actually casual Friday every single day of the week for me now. I get to live every day in my standard uniform – SHORTS. Today has been a good day. I went to have lunch with my best girls at Artsy Cafe over at Maginhawa. Guys, the CAJUN PRAWNS WERE SOOOOO GOOD! No photos though. I’ve already accepted that I cannot be a legit food blogger. Or any kind of niche blogger. Random bloggers unite! Hahaha!

Isn’t the cafe so cute?! #ihavethisthingwithfloors It took a while to get a table inside coz it was soooo jam-packed. The seats outside were quite comfy it’s just that mosquitoes have been attacking me lately and I forgot to wear my (kiddie) patch.

Missing our other best girls, Irish and Diane! Loooove that we could talk about anything and everything! No judgement, even if all the insecurities and anxieties and crazies come out. And YES TO PERIODS OF SELF-IMPROVEMENT!!!! It’s not a bum’s life! Woohoohooo.

So the afternoon was spent blogging – yehessss! being at home really pumps up my blogging mojo – until it was time to prep for TACO FRIDAY! I started with my specialty – SALSA – and I was feeling real good coz I’ve already made it a bunch of times and I swear, it tastes reeeeaaaalllyyyy yummy (NO BIAS, PROMISE!!!) and I wanted to eat it na, hahaha! But then a frozen lemon happened. And I ended up slicing my finger. MEDIC!!! Our helper was so cute, I asked her to get a bandaid and she ran to the sari-sari store to buy. I then showed it to my mom (with a plaster na ha!) and it was really funny/cute how worried/panicked she was. Hehehe! Love my mom. Hoping I get the hang of our kitchen soon! And yes, Taco Friday was a success!
