I didn’t have work today so I basically spent the whole morning in bed coz I slept at around 5:30 just surfing the net. After lunch, I went to the bank and then to another bank and then I finally went to Ateneo to do a quick cramming jogging session for Boracay.  I opted for a more laid-back look with eye-poppin’ colors inspired by the print on my tee.
(printed tee from Bangkok, aqua skirt from Rue 21 but acid washed by me, purple peeptoes from Parisian, aviator shades from Rayban, FCUK watch and random leather cuff)

I actually just splattered bleach on the skirt when I decided I was gonna wear it today. I got that skirt a couple of years back but then it got damaged when Ondoy (the super-extra-mega-hyper-over typhoon) took over my room and my closet. I’m not sure if you can see it but there are actually 3 shades in the skirt: the original aqua, the damaged darker blue part, and the bleached white.

What tough chick look would be complete without some bad ass shades?! My go to (and I bet a lot of people’s go to also) is the classic pair of aviators which are actually hand me downs from my dad.

trying to recreate my jogging stance at home after a 1-hour no pressure workout. I wore the same shirt but replaced my skirt with shorts, my peeptoes with trainers, and my leather watch with a plastic/rubber watch. Kim, our maid, and I were laughing so hard as I tried to pose and he tried to capture it.
Apart from jogging (okay fine, mostly brisk walking) around campus, I noticed I’ve been incorporating something else to my exercise routine. Usually during the latter part of my run, I make my way to Gesu for a few minutes of “recharge”. I am not the most religious person. I sometimes even find myself questioning some teachings and practices of the Church. But I can not deny the glory of God and it is through these moments of silence that I recharge our relationship.
I had dinner with Francis tonight as well and we had a couple of beers with his Starbucks’ co-partners. But that’s for a different entry. 😉
