Style.com already released its Top Spring 2011 trends and my favorite has got to be the lace trend. I mean, sure, it’s been here for quite a time but there’s just soooo much you can do with it. Even more so now that I’m digging the whole innerwear as outerwear look. Think Dolce&Gabbana SS2011. Thought I’d give it a go by wearing a white lace cardi over a black lace cami. I really liked the contrast of the colors and the difference in lace type, and I guess that’s how I made it my own – Signore Dolce & Signore Gabbana had their runway lace ensembles in monochrome and the models looking ever so polished while I opted for something edgier and somewhat darker.
