Have you ever met someone who has this unbelievable amount of talent in him that his works just leave you inspired and wonderstruck? That’s the case with me and the uber talented Nicky Roa. He was a classmate of my cousin, Ingrid and I was lucky enough to have met him during his stay in Manila. He used to sleepover a lot at Ingrid’s and when I’d go there, sometimes there’d be a project of his he forgot to bring home and Ingrid and I would just muse over it and gush about how detailed it is, how he was able to capture the light and the movement of the garment so perfectly, and how we’d love to wear his designs. On my latest trip to Ingrid’s, I found out that Nicky had already left for Cebu. And as fate would have it, he left his sketches. Ingrid and I went through them and as we flipped the pages, we felt the same sense of awe and amazement we did the first time we marveled at his works. I guess that’s what happens when you’re face to face with beauty. Here are some of my favorites, enjoy the pictures and I hope you find inspiration in them as well. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey Nicky, I hope you don’t mind me posting your works. My camera isn’t that detailyado naman so I doubt anyone will pass this off as theirs. ๐Ÿ˜‰ You are truly an amazing and talented person and there’s no doubt about you going far. I feel really privileged to have met you! Continue inspiring us with your beautiful works!
