It’s been a running joke inside the van that Donna, Rudolph, and I are the collegiates coz we’re from the same “age group”. We’d giggle it off in true youngster fashion as we sat next to each other in the second row and not think much into it coz being recent grads, it was something we’ve always been accustomed to. Today, we’ve all been given an opportunity to step out of our comfort zones and develop ourselves some more. It came as a shock at first but as it settled, I realized there is nothing to be scared of and that it’s about time I grow up and accept fully that as much as I’m having fun, this is still work and it requires a certain discipline and responsibility only the mature can offer. I think this One Tree Hill quote best sums it up: “You have to step outside of the person you’ve been, and remember the person you were meant to be. The person you wanted to be. The person you are.“
