Mercury is currently in retrograde and they say that it is during this period that anything that can go wrong will go wrong. The energy of the universe is so whacked right now that major decisions should be postponed. I almost forgot we were in the middle of retrograde until I figured out why I’ve hit a sudden realization last night. This definition from about.com best explains it: “Mercury retrograde gives us time to catch up with ourselves, and to look back. Something from the past might return in a different form. This can mean people, ideas or buried insights that need to surface for you to move forward. Often it’s felt as a contemplative time, depending on the sign, a chance to go over old ground again, to claim what you missed the first time.”
I realized although my life is beyond awesome (I’m biased), I feel like there are some things my high school self wouldn’t appreciate. I don’t know if this is me romanticizing life and being too idealistic, but yeah. I have faith that this traveler will find her way and end up where she’s meant to be, detours and all, in this journey called life.
