Had an interview for an exchange program and as the interview was on going, I realized that not only did I want it, I actually needed it in my life. The prospect of having a core shaking test of independence in a far away land for a month or so, immersing myself in another culture, and knowing that I am making a difference is something that tugged at my being. It’s something I’ve always wanted to experience and just have to do. Luckily, I passed the first part and I’m now part of AIESEC Philippines’ pool of Development interns! Really excited to find the perfect match ie: type of internship, country, and program schedule. 🙂
