Where were you last Thursday when the rain pretty much kept traffic on a standstill and got everyone stranded? I hope you were all safe and dry coz I’ve heard a lot of horror stories like being stuck on the road for 6 hours, being stuck in the office, etc. I was one of the lucky ones who didn’t get to experience that. Don’t get me wrong, the rain messed with my plans (a make-up event and a friend’s despedida) too but seriously, one of the best places to get stranded in is a luxe hotel.

We were in New World Hotel – Manila from 1030am til around midnight coz of the People Asia Men Who Matter event and later on coz of the heavy rains and traffic that got us stranded. In the middle of the event honoring the Men Who Matter, People Asia opted to have a fashion show that was sponsored by SM Menswear. It was a 30-piece collection featuring casual, business, and formal attires. I’ll link photos from the show and the event when they’re up as I wasn’t able to take any. 🙁 For now, let me just share photos during the rehearsals and the lull while waiting for the rain to pass.
