Since it’s love month, I thought I’d leave you with this pink and cream outfit as my first post this February. Wore this when I had lunch with my friend Rebecca last week in Kitchen. Our outfits were a stark contrast to what we were wearing when we first met back in October 2011 when I lived with her family during my #europe2011 leg in Prague. Our moms were classmates way back when 😉

Once the calendar turned February, I couldn’t help but feel relief. I mean, yeah, January is my birth month but these past 31 days, I felt like I was continuously being thrown buckets of ice cold water by reality.

There’s always something about that “fresh start” that makes you think that anything is possible. That no matter how rough times were before, you can still hope for something better. The simple sunrise should be enough reminder of that fresh start but I admit that I’ve been such a grouch last month to even appreciate this. The universe is loving that way, always providing us with instances of hope and opportunities for growth. 🙂
