I’m trying to type my fingers off here at the Supersale Bazaar coz I’m already late for the Postura Project Bloggers’ Challenge, but better late than never, right? ๐Ÿ™‚ So what’s the Postura Project you ask?

“The hope for the Postura Project is to become a portal for Filipino branded fashion and locally inspired looks. Started by four fashionalism advocates Arriane Serafico, Knox Balbastro, Sarah Meier, and David Guison, it has a very simple mission. To get fellow Filipinos to start wearing something Filipino everyday.

To kick-start the movement, weโ€™re posing a challenge to ourselves – to wear something Filipino everyday, for one whole month. This is to show how weโ€™re loud and proud, and we firmly believe that โ€œMade in the Philippinesโ€ can be young, fun, and fashionable. We show how it takes very little effort to incorporate a piece of Philippine fashion into your everyday outfit.”

For the bloggers’ challenge, we had to wear at least one thing that’s locally made or designed so today’s outfit is mostly PLF. ๐Ÿ™‚

wearing: PLF blazer and shorts, bangkok shirt, bag from Cebu, wedges from Mags

getting my local on! this blazer is part of our latest collection for PLFIngrid and I were talking about how there really isn’t much affordable quality blazers and that led us to our Summer Blazers Collection. At only P1850, these not so ordinary blazers are all fully-lined. The banig bag was a pasalubong from my mom from her recent trip to Cebu. The necklace is hers too ๐Ÿ™‚ Here’s a tip when vacationing around the Philippines – check out the local market. You’ll be surprised with all the bargain fashion finds! ๐Ÿ™‚

Do check out the POSTURA PROJECT: Official Website || Facebook || Tumblr || Twitter hashtag: #PosturaPH and why not wear something Filipino too? ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I love this 30-day challenge idea! It is about time we start supporting our own! I was in Australia recently and Elle Macpherson got my attention just to tell me she loved my dress (which I got only from the local palenke in Pampanga) Chic doesn't have to be expensive! ;D
