{PLF outfit, manels shoes}
Spent last Sunday at the Ronac Center for Platform – Manila’s 1st ever youth convention. Really honored that PLF was one of the brands selling in such a well-organized event! Plus, I really love the idea behind PLATFORM – a stage to showcase the country’s youngest and most dynamic designers, creators, and entrepreneurs. Wore the cut-out tribal dress from our summer collection but since I still have to clock in some more hours at the gym, I paired it with pieces from our Summer Blazers collection. Wearing the Middleton Capelet (see what we did there?! hahahah) in the pictures above coz the hanger doesn’t do it justice. ๐Ÿ™‚ But most of the time, I was wearing the Fabray Sequin Blazer (did the gleeks get this one? hahaha!) as seen in the pictures below.
style savvy photographer Bjorn was kind enough to snap an outfit shot using my cam too! sayang no picture with him! I super love that guy!

Sanya Smith, the model used by Zalora for PLF

with my loves from Paradigm Shift, fellow bloggers and Platform sellers Mike and Karl

notable netizens were also in attendance including Jacque de Borja of Style Bible, fashion bloggers Aisa of Drowning Equilibriums and Tracy of Fashion Fangirl, and the super sikat Rev of Peace Love and Revolution

and of course, blogger and Sarah Meier’s assistant, Alyssa. Congrats Alyssa!! ๐Ÿ˜€

and finally, Ingrid and I at the PLF booth with the event’s host and organizer, Sarah Meier-Albano.
If you weren’t in Ronac last Sunday, you missed half your life. Okay, maybe just a fourth – but still! It was such an awesome event to celebrate the Filipino youth and their amaaazing talent. Ingrid and I were saying it was the most fun selling event we’ve been to coz of the really good music, the nice mix of people, and of course, the cause behind it. Fashionalism is definitely one of the best ways to show Pinoy pride – so easy to do yet it can reach a large scope coz of its high visibility. Let’s wear our hearts out literally – if you’re heart is screaming Pilipinas, try to wear at least one thing Filipino everyday. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Cheers to Platform and the Filipino youth!

xx
