Collaborations between brands and designers have been popular these days as it makes popularly-conceived high priced designer items within reach. This philosophy is true but more than being affordable, the general public is given access to the designs, art and ingenuity that designers are born with. This summer, Folded and Hung teams up again with two of the most sought-after Filipino designers Eric de los Santos for ladieswear and Jerome Lorico for menswear.

Eric de los Santos counts that his summer collection is greatly inspired by the colours of the beach where the sun shines brighter and the people enjoying the breeze. Orange, Blue, Turquoise and Pink compose of the pieces of the collection, perfectly fit for the season. Cover-ups, dresses and tops and bottoms complete the much anticipated designs of Eric, each accentuating the body of a woman by using flowy and soft materials.

On the other hand, menswear designer Jerome Lorico takes a different direction for summer. He combines both tailored look with layback vibe of this season. Jerome created tailored and structured long and short sleeved polos with leather accents highlighting the masculinity of the gentleman. Browns and blacks are the dominant colours for this look. The layback slant of the collection is the sando that are inspired by the Brazilian rainforest. Green, Red and Brown with watermelons and parrots as print summarize what the collection is.

Be sure to drop by your nearest Folded and Hung for these cool summer digs! And just a tip, be sure to check out their shoe section (remember this one?) for stylish yet affordable statement shoes. 😉
