YOU DO IT WHAT YOU DO TO ME

Last 15January, I treated myself to an early birthday present – PHOENIX. As with most concerts I go to, this one was also semi-last minute, with us buying tickets during lunch (thank you sistic). We also encountered a little no-cabs-available/traffic-along-Loyang/no-time-for-dinner problem before the show but the band was so worth it. They were one with the crowd; they made you feel like you’re part of the experience and not just merely spectating. Thomas Mars even went around the theatre and they invited people to dance on stage. How cool is that!?

More than the artist per se, I think the reason I love going to concerts is the vibe that you can never get from just listening alone in your room. Yes, the music plays a huge part in this atmosphere, but mix it in with the artist’s energy and the audience’s enthusiasm, then wow. It’s just such a nice high.♥︎
