Growing up with Sweet Valley, I’ve always believed California to be the coolest place on Earth. Californians are always portrayed as hip, trendy, and just downright cool. One might argue that they aren’t as sophisticated as their East Coast counterparts in New York (or Europe if we go farther East), but their chill and laidback vibe appeals more to my style sensibilities. Tousled hair, anyone?
Tried channeling California for these photos taken a couple of really hot Sunday afternoons ago. Went for my godson’s meet and greet party and then had dinner with the boyfriend at where else? California Pizza Kitchen.
this big portion of greens has succeeded in quenching my Caesar Salad binge (I’ve been craving and eating it for around 2 weeks, haha). They serve a variety of really good salad, making CPK officially my go to place for salad. Yes, salad, not pizza.
Although the pizza is not bad too! For this visit, we had the Pepperoni Supremo which is basically the ordinary pepperoni pizza topped with more cheese. Did I mention it was thin crust? Ooooohh!
In Manila, my absolute favourite part about CPK was the bottomless raspberry iced tea. Although the iced tea tasted a bit different, it’s still the perfect complement to my California meal.
