Strictly Pancakes is one of my favorite food joints here in Singapore. Through Pooja’s recommendation, Ingrid and I found ourselves at their Princep Street outlet one quiet evening in 2013. We ended up raving about the food all throughout the week! A year later, every bite of their pancakes still make me swoon. I frequent the one in Siglap more now because not only is it close by, it’s also more spacious. More spacious = more chances of getting a table. And believe me, tables are a rare commodity during peak hours. Speaking of hours, the only thing I don’t like about Strictly Pancakes is they have odd service hours. Make sure to check the store hours before dropping by!

Before I go showing you my favorite pancakes, I have to mention that they have really amazing milkshakes too. The Nutella is sinfully delicious but if you plan on eating, I suggest you get the Vanilla instead.

How adorable is this shot glass for the syrup? You also get to choose your butter. Choose between salted, unsalted, rum raisin, and garlic herb.

My favorite from the SWEET line up: Strawberries & Co – medium stack with seasonal mixed berries, cream and strawberry coulis served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

My favorite from their SAVOURY line up: Garlic Buttered Prawns – medium stack served with prawns buttered generously with garlic, and cherry tomato salad on the side.

They actually have more yummy pancakes to choose from but these two are my top picks. I highly recommend these! 🙂 If you can only try one though, I’d suggest you go for the Garlic Buttered Prawns as I’m pretty sure it’s like nothing you’ve ever tried before.

Fun fact: you can downsize your pancakes. If you’re like me and you find it impossible to finish all 3 pancakes, this is a good deal. You get $1 off if you downsize to 2 pancakes instead.

I really should end this post now as it’s making me crave for pancakes! Agh!
