First thing’s first, open another window and book your tickets to Le Noir if you haven’t watched it yet. The show will run at the Marina Bay Sands Theatre until June 29 only. That’s this Sunday. If you need a little more convincing, then this blog post is for you.

Referred to as the “intimate side of cirque”, Le Noir showcases incredible acrobatics and specialty acts. The performances literally kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. If I wasn’t gasping and holding my breath, I was cursing and applauding. It was stressful to see them do their stunts and acrobatics! I guess that’s the price you pay when you watch a highly entertaining and very skilled performance. Pictured above is the wheel of death from the last act.

It’s not all stunts and acrobatics either. The show was hosted by Sal the clown, who’s a real goofball as you can see. His bits of comedy lighted up the mood of the audience who just recently had jolts in cortisol levels.

I also had my five seconds of fame during the June 8 show when Sal the clown told me “no, no, no!” when I answered yes to his incomprehensible question. It wasn’t just me though! The show was very interactive. They even got some (forced) volunteers to start a band, haha!

All in all, Le Noir lived up to its hype and advertising. I highly recommend it to everyone! Much so that I’m taking time off my holiday in this beautiful island of Bali just so I could post this before its closing weekend. That says a lot about how much I liked this show.
Tickets available on sistic. 🙂
