After graduating, I really couldn’t care less if it was summer because a) there’s no more school and b) living in South East Asia means that the weather is pretty much the same all throughout the year. In short, I felt like I was in perennial summer vacation. I’d go play work with our styling team and then on off days, I’d hang out with my friends. It really felt like an extended holiday.
Nowadays, I couldn’t care less if it’s summer because a) I’m in the office the whole day anyway and b) office is air conditioned. NOT.
Above is my sheepish face as I admit that summer still gets me. Lucky for the tropics, it’s not just a season, it’s a lifestyle. I may no longer have my summer vacation (huhu) but I still got that summer state and a trip to MNL/DPS lined up. It also doesn’t hurt to have a “big girl” bag to compensate my non-student status. 🙂
