Is it blasphemous that I think local pizzeria PEPERONI serves the best pizza islandwide? I would honestly choose pizza from here any day every day over celebrity chef restaurant Mozza or even, dare I say it, Skinny Pizza (with all its yummy truffle goodness). Don’t get me wrong, I love pizza. I love pizza in all its forms and all its creators, and you will still definitely see me enjoying one from eateries other than Peperoni. Let’s just say that for now, I have found my ultimate pizza-pasta-panacotta meal in this eatery that kneads love.
Peperoni’s ‘Appetite for Life’ philosophy declared proudly on the menu. According to their website, this philosophy makes Peperoni more than just a restaurant, it is a place that has a mission – to bring people together, to bind relationships, to savour life in all its delightful flavours.
And this my friends, was what I was craving for that day. Half and half Diavola (pepperoni) and Quattro Formaggi (Mozzarella, taleggio, scamorza & gorgonzola cheese) with extra anchovies. Yum yum yummmm!!!
Frutti di Mare Penne. Good seafood pasta, but nothing in comparison to their Carbonara which I kinda regret not ordering this specific visit. Thought I’d mix it up but now I know better than to mess with Regina’s personal Peperoni trifecta.
My throat was actually very bad during this visit so the only thing I could eat in peace was this delicious vanilla panna cotta. It can do better plating wise to be honest, but taste wise? Peperoni can do me no wrong.
Yipee! pasta and pizza..always a perfect combi
