Merry Christmas, everyone!!! Sharing some tropical lovin’ with my version of red and green – pink and neon green. (Not that I have any qualms with red and green, which happens to be my favorite colors, but you guys know my blog is a bit backdated and this is the most Christmas-y I can find, haha)
I am back in Manila and my first thoughts about leaving NAIA was “Damn this traffic!!! This wouldn’t happen if I were in Changi.” There was a jam in the Terminal 2 carpark, would you believe!? But after a while of frowning and furrowed eyebrows, you just gotta shake-shake-shake-it off and remember that it’s a very small trade off for being home for the holidays.
Christmas, and everyday of the year, is about honoring Christ.. which is honoring LOVE. I spent Christmas Eve around a simple but yummy noche buena with those dearest to me – laughing at and with each other, playing Heads Up, being thankful for the blessings, praying for those less fortunate, and then humbly asking God to bless us that we may bless – in my tito’s words: be blessed that we may bless.
This Christmas day, I wish you – through the people in your life, yourself included – be reminded of how infinitely loved you are by God. May this in turn remind you that for others, YOU are His manifestation of love. Act accordingly and let’s make spirits bright. 😉
