I got to crash in my mom’s hotel room when she had a conference here in Singapore. I’m not really big on eastern decor, but I have to say that my experience in Mandarin Oriental exceeded all possible expectations. Their service was excellent and the facilities were topnotch. When it comes to food and dining, I’ll go as far to say that this hotel has the best in Singapore – but that’s reserved for its own solo post. Mandarin Oriental is conveniently located in Marina Centre, making it a nice starting point for your day to day agenda in Singapore – regardless if it’s for business or pleasure. Conversely, coming home to Mandarin Oriental is always a treat as the rooms boast of killer city views and the bed (and pillows!!) is just so comfy.
