Got the chance to attend the Urban Decay Vice 4 launch at Sephora Ion yesterday. I’ve recently been more into make up so this was something I looked forward to. Vice 4 is the ultimate holiday palette. If I may so myself. The colors are so pretty but being the newbie that I am, I didn’t know if I’d be able to pull it off much less put the colors to good use. Luckily, there was also a live demo when we were there. Scroll through the pictures to find out more. 😉
Urban Decay’s Melissa kicked things off by welcoming everyone and announcing the day’s program and the goodies that await when you buy UD products.
Eunice, the country make-up artist for Urban Decay Singapore, was there to walk us through the palette, using the “tougher” colors like greens, oranges, and purples.
Starting things off with the Urban Decay primer which prepares the lids and makes the colors pop. Girls, it’s time we stop scrimping, as Eunice advised one of the guests don’t use foundation as primer. The eyeshadow primer is especially formulated for that purpose.
Eunice did two types of eye make-up. The left is the more subdued yet still colorful look with graduations of green, and the one on the right is the more glam holiday look with pinks, purples, and burgundy topped off with glitter eye liner.

Eunice said that part of the awesomeness of being an Urban Decay girl is being unapologetic for your make-up. There are no rules, and you have to follow your own likes. Strong eyes and a strong lip? WHY NOT!? It looks good anyway. 🙂
