I thought I’d squeeze in a post before going on holiday and neglecting my blog (and pretty much my “real” life, haha). I’ve started counting down to this trip since October so you can only guess how excited/impatient I’ve been especially during the final days leading up to tonight.  Luckily, I’ve had a bunch of things that made the wait sweeter. And these are what I’m loving now. 😉

First up, I received my 20 inch, 200 grams, Silky Touch Light Brown hair extensions from Irresistible Me. It’s made of 100% pure Remy hair and I couldn’t believe how soft and smooth it was! I’ve been missing my looong hair ever since I cut it so this is something that I’m really excited to try! I’ll be posting a proper blog review for this, but for now, here’s a quick look. Irresistible who? Irresistible Me! 🙂

Next, our company D&D which we celebrated at Carousel over at Royal Plaza Scotts. For the first time EVER, I didn’t get the last price for our lucky draw! Woohoo! It’s also the first time in a long while that we didn’t celebrate it in the office, the change of scenery and the yummy seafood was greatly appreciated.

my lovely colleagues 🙂
I also received the vacuum cleaner I’ve bought from my latest addiction, Qoo10. It’s seriously the best thing ever!!! The vacuum cleaner, not Qoo10. Haha! I can’t stop using it! It makes cleaning so much easier and I feel that my room is sooo clean now. My boyfriend need not sneeze on the rare chances he gets to come over (aka: when he’s my handyman. I’m not allowed visitors in my place, haha!)
I also met Out & Abroad‘s Rica for coffee. Super small world coz she’s a fellow Atenean and fellow InTACT faci also working in Singapore. Chatting with her was really inspiring for me because this woman, aside from her full-time job, runs 2 blogs and writes for publications. Her baby, Out & Abroad was created specifically for young, Asian expats – something very uncommon in expat blogs! – so do check it out if you need inspiration for making your next big move or if you just need some words of comfort when you’re missing home or experiencing new unchartered territories.
Lastly, going out for a drink. I haven’t really been going out lately and I haven’t been missing it until I went out with a bunch of colleagues for a round of Japanese whisky. Not only did I learn to calculate the alcohol content based on the proof, I was able to enjoy their company outside work, talking and laughing about (mostly) non-logistics stuff.
Cheers!
Best of all, what I’m loving now is what lies ahead. For this week, this month, and the upcoming new year. Can you all believe it’s the last month of the year!? Where did 2015 go!?
