As much as I am tempted to complain about how I haven’t been getting “proper rest” for the past month and a half, I know better. All those choices, I’ve made on my own accord and had I known then how tired my body will be, I’m pretty sure I’d still be making the same decisions. Seeing the world and spending time with family and friends is always worth it. Throw in career growth and personal development in the equation, then damn, I would endure sleepless nights and traffic all over again. Now, to keep the energy and the momentum. I’m ready but still working on the steady part – I badly need to hibernate, haha! Nevertheless, I am starting the year highly optimistic and just raring to go. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Keeping up with the family tradition of wearing red during New Year’s. As much as it’s my favorite color, I don’t have enough of it in my closet. So yeah, hunting for something red has also become part of my New Year’s tradition. But of all the holiday traditions, the best one is really spending time with family. One of my favorite moments from my recent Manila trip was having the house full with people, food, and noise. Hehe! I’ll be blogging about the month that was soon, and I am really psyched to be reliving those days here while (!) making new memories from the now as well. Coz really, the past is nowhere to live. As much as I like going through the awesome times that were, I’m here and now, and faced with an opportunity to make the present count. Naks!
And since we’re on the subject of insights, remember I mentioned meeting up with Rica from Out & Abroad? My story about moving to and living in Singapore can now be found here. Check it out and let’s chat about moving abroad if you want! ๐Ÿ™‚
