I'm so sorry for your loss. I am a doglover myself and I remember the pain we felt when one of our dogs passed away. True enough, dogs are the most loving, loyal pets anyone could have. 🙂 I'm sure Kirk loved you so much and that he knew how much you loved him back 🙂

And yes, you're right. Life is fast and we shouldn't take anyone for granted. Thank you for that reminder. 🙂
