Last Friday was the first day of Bakery Fair 2011 over at the World Trade Center, Manila. A program was scheduled in the evening wherein one of the segments was a fashion show, and not just any fashion show, mind you. It was a show featuring fashion heavyweights Randy Ortiz, Joey Samson, Ivarluski Aseron, Louis Claparols, Pablo Cabahug, Myth, Tango, and Koket. Behind this grand showcase of clothes that left the chefs, bakers, and special guests awestruck were JCA Productions, spearheaded by Jackie Aquino, and stylist extraordinaire Luis Espiritu. We got there around 11am since most of the models weren’t able to go to last Wednesday’s fitting and the fashion show started past 8pm. This post is a recap of the hours between 11 and 8.

intricately designed fondant cakes were also on display

we spotted this Scramble booth and Donna was the first one who ordered

we all followed suit, one by one, afterwards. I tripped and had my most embarrassing moment around 5 minutes after this photo was taken, haha

I finally changed into flats (thanks Mikka!!!) after being scolded by Belle and finding a lump in my right foot. I went to the organizers’ holding room for some first-aid but they didn’t have a first-aid kit, only a manghihilot. That kinda freaked me out. 😐
