I went to see The Vamps perform in Hard Rock Hotel Singapore’s The Coloseum and I’m not ashamed to admit that I was dancing (flailing? hahaha!) the entire time. The Vamps’ songs have always been catchy and it was just a real feel good 90-minutes. I was surrounded by a (very much) younger crowd, but it’s okay, good music knows no age limit anyway, right?! I’m done having to defend why I like certain artists. They play good music. My kind of music, if you want to be more objective. That should be enough reason, diba? Anyway! Like I said, I was pretty much jumping and doing my cardio for the week during the concert and once you’re watching without the lens between you and the stage, you realize that 90% of the crowd is busy taking photos and videos. Not that I haven’t done it before (have you seen my 1D pic spam?) but it was just much more fun to sing along and dance. Coz come to think of it, how many times have I actually gone through the pictures/videos I took during concerts? Truth? Once to sift through for my blog post and a second to admire my blog post. I (and I’m guessing you too) don’t need to take 200+ photos of your favorite band during a show. Take a few good ones and then give yourself a break and enjoy the rest of the concert. It’s much better singing and dancing along and being carried by the energy of the band and the fans. And gaaaah, have I mentioned I love dancing?! Maybe jumping around and awkwardly moving my body is a much better description, but yeah.

And oh, to get us through the final stretch of the week, here’s a mini-playlist with upbeat songs we could flail around to from, you guessed it, The Vamps.
