I love to eat. I think that’s the main reason why I’ve gained so much weight here in Singapore. But before you all give me a collective “DUH!!!“, let me elaborate a bit. Living on your own means you’re in charge of taking care of your own meals. As much as I love the place I’m staying in, I’ve never felt fully comfortable in someone else’s kitchen. So that means, eating out. Imagine you’re a foodie in a brand new environment, of course you’re gonna want to try everything! Too bad for me tasting portions aren’t really common. I admit I may have gone overboard since not only is the food scene new to me, earning my own money and choosing what to do with it is too. I’m guilty of indulging in dining experiences that I purposely scrimp on everything else but. #YOLO (do people still say that?), carpe diem.. or carpe di-yum! I promise (what’s with me and making promises on the blog recently?!) that I’ll start working on better eating habits and a strict fitness regimen asa </strike>who am I kidding, it’s the freakin’ holidays, next year.

But for now, let me look back and share what is probably my favorite foodie moment of 2015 – the Artichoke x Cocotte collab brunch held last April.
