Going to Paris has left my travel bucket list with a huge void. There isn’t another city that I’ve longed and fantasized for – prior to meeting – as much as the City of Lights. Paris was something I’ve wanted all my life. It was the primary item on my bucket list and after having that CDG stamp in my passport, I was like, so, what’s next? I mean, I know I’m far from having enough of it, I still intend on going back and exploring it more, but I doubt I’ll be able to recreate the extreme levels of anticipation and awe upon arriving in my dream city for the first time ever. So instead of just the city or the place – I’ve passed my desire to collect x number of countries and focus instead on where I want to go and what I want to see, regardless if I’ve been there or not – I decided to create a bucket list of travel-related “firsts” I want to do. I’ve set a deadline for before my 28th birthday so I have the rest of 2016 to hopefully accomplish all these. Wish me luck!

Ideally it would be Christmas in New York (damn you, Serendipity!) but I have to be realistic. 26 years in and I have still yet to see snow, so I don’t really need to be picky as to where coz this is something I really, really want to experience. And yes, a lot of people have warned me that it’s not really nice.

1. Experience SNOW (!)

2. Attend a major music festival
