\nI am, for the lack of a better word, atat<\/b>. It’s Filipino slang for being impatiently overeager. I think a paragraph I wrote a couple of weeks earlier best sums up why: <\/div>\n

\nA thought crossed my mind. Normally, I wouldn’t give it a second thought, let alone write a blog post about it, but here I am free writing (or in this case, free typing) for all the internet world to see. You see, I’ve always wanted to travel. I’ve always been fascinated with different cultures, different architectures, different histories. To be honest, since this is no holds barred and all, this fascination was more concentrated in Europe (okay fine, France). Through the years, I’ve been able to see more of the world outside my Cubao – Katipunan – Quezon City radius and it made me want to see further and go farther. For the past couple of days, my wanderlust has reached an all-time high with the surge of discounted airline tickets. It’s not that I have nothing on for this year, but the travel bug has a mighty insatiable appetite. And it made me ask… why?<\/b> <\/i>And importantly, why now more than ever in my life?<\/u> The answer that came to me, which I would’ve shrugged off another day, was escape.<\/i> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nSo yes, I’m atat<\/i><\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nI’m looking forward to the fruition of the plans I’ve been laying out. I’m excited for the prospects, and I’m pleased with the direction I’ve finally found confidence to go for.<\/div>\n
