\nAtmosphere was really charming and cozy with a lot of quotable quotes<\/i> lining up the walls (did you see my new motto above? hahaha!). You have to go to the cashier to order, and water and cutleries are self-service. But the food was good, the staff were friendly, and the prices were reasonable. \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n

\nIf my “date” looks familiar, it’s because you’ve seen her on this blog before! We used to work together on shoots for The Philippine Star’s Allure section in which she worked as an Editorial Assistant (which is most likely why you know her, haha!). I’m so glad we finally got to gather <\/i>(pun intended) as this long overdue meet up has been 6 months in the making!<\/p>\n

\nOkay, so piggy story, after eating our mains, I asked Jerni what kind of lava cake we should order. She said chocolate and I replied somewhere along the lines of “okay good. I’ll get both, you have the chocolate, I’ll have the matcha.” And she was like “whaaat?! that’s too much!” Hahaha I don’t regret that decision at all! The lava cakes were deeee-licious!<\/div>\n

\nOh and one more thing, her birthday is coming up in a couple of days and being someone who love love loves birthdays, I couldn’t resist asking if they could write a simple happy birthday in the chocolate lava cake. To my utter delight, they responded positively and even asked if I wanted a candle. <\/div>\n

\nOf course I wanted a candle! :)) They took it a step further by playing the birthday song in the cafe’s speaker system and had 3 of their staff come sing for Jerni. I felt like it was my birthday too! Hahaha! I love birthdays!!!!! \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n

\nWith levelled up comfort food served in a warm and friendly atmosphere, it’s easy to see why this cafe promotes “togetherness”. Everything about it – the interiors, the staff, and the food – makes you want to come back and share that warm, fuzzy experience you’ve just had with those dearest to you. It’s no surprise that they are packed, from families to groups of friends to reuniting amigas (that’s us!), people wanted to be together with each other and with To-gather. There’s still so much I want to try and so much people I want to bring, I will definitely be back!<\/p>\n
